DATA UPDATE CYCLE:

  • 1-minute updates
    • Near-real-time "Quicklook" imagery
  • 5-minute updates
    • Near-real-time weather station data (.dat format)
    • Near-real-time Ceilometer Data (.nc format, L2 only)
  • Hourly updates
    • Historical Quicklook imagery archive
  • Daily updates (updated at 0010 UTC each night):
    • Daily numerical station data (all times for 1 day) in .dat format
    • All-sky imagery  (all images for 1 day) in tar.gz format
    • CL51/CL61 ceilometer data (all times for one day) in .nc format (L2 only)
  • Monthly updates (manually completed)
    • Tipping bucket rain gauges (.txt format)

  • Numerical Datasets and All-Sky Imagery
    • Direct download (i.e., wget, curl, etc.):  
      • All datasets are stored in a common data website data structure

USER NOTE: This website's design does not permit directory navigation. Due to the "ASCII_WX_STATION_DATA_HISTORICAL" section being more than two sub directories deep, it is only possible to download these data if the exact directory location and file are specified (the links below only show which days data are avaialble).
