GOES-R Calibration/Validation Flights

Location: Warner Robins AFB, Warner Robins, GA | Coordinates: 32°38′24″N 083°35′30″W

The GOES-R validation campaign is a joint NOAA-NASA effort to validate sensors on the new GOES-R (now GOES-16) satellite. The flights during March through May 2017 are based out of Palmdale, CA and Warner-Robins, GA.
