Genesis and Rapid Intensification Processes

• First flights of HIWRAP and Global Hawk AV-6 based at Dryden Flight Research Facility.
• Payload with HIWRAP, HAMSR, dropsondes.
• HIWRAP had two test flights, 5 hurricane missions.
• Flights over Hurricanes Earl (1) and Karl (3), and Tropical Storm Matthew (1).
• There were some data issues during Earl and first two Karl flights that were too difficult to repair.
