GLOVE
GSFC Lidar Observaion and Validation Experiment (GLOVE)
NASA Armstrong, Edwards AFB (34°54′20″N 117°53′01″W)
Utilizing the NASA ER-2 outfit with the Cloud Physics Lidar (CPL), Roscoe, enhanced MODIS Airborne Simulator (eMAS), and Cloud Radar System (CRS) with the InfraRed Airborne Imager (IRAI), GLOVE will (1) validate new ICESat-2 atmospheric data products, (2) validate EarthCARE lidar, radar, spectrometer data products, and (3) test new Roscoe receiver alignment.

The ER-2 payload included:
- Cloud Physics Lidar (CPL)
- Roscoe
- Enhanced MODIS Airborne Simulator (eMAS)
- Cloud Radar System (CRS)
Dates of Campaign: 1 February 2025 - 25 February 2025.

Data on this site is for unofficial distribution and may be preliminary. Once a NASA Distributed Active Archive Center (DAAC) is selected to host the GLOVE data archive, final data sets and acknowledgement instructions will be available there.
