Tipping Bucket Raw Data Files

Three tipping bucket gauges are located within 10 feet of each other on the Building 33 Rooftop. Data is captured on data loggers that record each tip event.  Each tip is equal to 0.01 inches of rain.  The files on the data loggers are downloaded periodically at no fixed interval.

The file names are GSFC X MM-DD-YY TTT.txt where X is the gauge number, MM-DD-YY is the date, and TTT is the time reference, either LOC or UTC for local time or UTC time.  We switched over from local time to UTC time after the 10-27-2020 file.  We dropped the TTT after 8-19-2021 and all times are given in UTC. The file times are when the data was downloaded off the data logger.
