Westcoast & Heartland Hyperspectral Microwave Sensor Intensive Experiment (WHyMSIE)

WHyMSIE is the very first step forward towards an integrated, intelligent, and affordable PBL observing system of systems. 

The NASA AFRC ER-2 809 and the NASA LaRC G-III were the only aircraft flying.

The ER-2 payload included:

Airborne Radio Occultation (ARO).
